Receta Chocolate Chip Toffee Bars

Ingredientes
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 2/3 c. butter, softened
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 3 Large eggs, separated
- 1 tbsp. sugar, granulated
- 1 (6 ounce.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1/3 c. nuts
Direcciones
- Beat 1/2 cake mix (dry), butter, brown sugar, and egg yolks in large bowl till smooth. Stir in remaining cake mix. Press proportionately into ungreased cookie sheet. Beat egg whites in small bowl till foamy. Beat in granulated sugar gradually. Continue beating till soft peaks form. Spread over layer in pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 min till top is golden. Run knife around edges while hot to loosen sides. Cold and cut into bars.
