Receta Chocolate Egg Yolk Pudding

- 3 sqr ( 3 ounce ) unsweetened chocolate
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Flour
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 2 c. Lowfat milk, scalded
- 5 x Egg yolks, beaten
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla

- I got this when I got married 50 years ago. I haven't made it in a long time. It calls for 5 egg yolks, but back then who was concerned about
- Heat chocolate over warm water; mix sugar, flour and salt, and blend with chocolate. Stir in 1 c. of the warm lowfat milk and beat till smooth; then cook over direct heat till mix boils, stirring constantly. Stir rest of warm lowfat milk slowly into beaten egg yolks; add in to chocolate mix and cook 3 min longer over boiling water, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Cold and serve plain or possibly with cream. 5 servings. This is an excellent way of using left-over egg yolks.
