Receta Christmas Pudding (Real Food For Real People)

Ingredientes
- 1 c. Butter or possibly Margarine
- 1 c. Molasses
- 1 c. Lowfat milk
- 3 1/2 c. Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/2 c. Citron finely minced
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 2 tsp Cream of Tartar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Cloves
- 1 c. Raisins
- 1/2 c. Currants
Direcciones
- In a large bowl, combine butter, molasses and lowfat milk. Reserve 1/4 c. of flour for dredging the fruits. Mix remainder of flour with salt, spices, cream of tartar and baking soda. Combine with first mix. Add in dredged fruits (toss fruits lightly with 1/4 c. reserved flour). Mix thoroughly. Fill well oiled 1 lb. cans 2/3 full of pudding. Cover and steam for 3 hrs. Serve warm with any desired pudding sauce (caramel, lemon, etc.).
