Receta CINNAMON BUTTERCREAM AUTUMN CAKE... for the Daring Kitchen

Ingredientes
- Sponge
- 4 eggs (200gms)
- 125 gms powdered sugar
- 125 gms plain flour
- 2 tbsp cornflour/optional (makes the cake texture lighter)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 tsp cinnamon powder
- Buttercream filling & frosting
- 1/2 cup butter at room temperature
- 2 tbsps clarified butter
- 2 tbsps low fat cream
- 3-4 tbsps powdered sugar
- 2tsps cinnamon powder (to taste)
- Icing Sugar â 3-4 Tbsp
- Topping
- 200ml low fat cream
- 1-2 tbsps powdered sugar food colours as required
- Marzipan for pumpkin patch

!%20COOL!%20I%E2%80%99ve%20actually%20developed%20a%20signature%20style%20over%20the%20years%20without%20realizing%20it!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20when%20I%20saw%20the%20shout%20out%20for%20the%20competition%20on%20Daring%20Kitchen%20and%20Ivonnes%20blog,%20Cream%20Puffs%20in%20Venice,%20I%20knew%20what%20I%20wanted%20to%20do.%20Even%20better%20that%20the%20contest%20was%20theme%20based;%20so%20much%20easier%20to%20focus.%20My%20thought%20%E2%80%A6%20a%20fat%20less%20sponge%20with%20a%20butter/clarified%20butter/cream%20frosting%20&%20my%20signature%20piping%20on%20top.%20Turned%20out%20to%20be%20a%20bit%20of%20an%20uphill%20drive%20as%20piping%20the%20buttercream%20wasn%E2%80%99t%20as%20smooth%20as%20I%20wanted,%20so%20I%20had%20to%20scrape%20it%20off%20&%20begin%20all%20over%20again.%20I%20finally%20smoothened%20the%20cake%20out%20with%20a%20light%20whipped%20cream%20cover,%20left%20it%20to%20set%20&%20then%20piped%20swirls%20free-hand.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMr%20PAB%20was%20kind%20enough%20to%20film%20it%20as%20I%20had%20promised%20Happy%20Cook%20I%20would%20definitely%20take%20a%20video%20the%20next%20time%20I%20attempted%20the%20piping.%20I%20promised%20her%20a%20lesson%20in%20piping,%20but%20distances%20being%20what%20they%20are,%20this%20seemed%20a%20better%20idea.%20I%20recycle%20milk%20bags%20we%20get%20here%20for%20piping%20designs%20etc.%20Pardon%20my%20green%20nails%20but%20I%20hastily%20abandoned%20making%20marzipan%20leaves%20to%20get%20this%20filmed.%20My%20first%20video%E2%80%A6%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESimplistic%20cake%20decorating%20is%20my%20passion,%20and%20I%20enjoyed%20doing%20this.%20A%20contest%20asking%20you%20to%20decorate%20a%20cake%20to%20represent%20what%20the%20Autumn%20means%20to%20you%E2%80%A6Starting%20with%20a%209-inch%20cake%20as%20your%20base,%20create%20a%20visual%20representation%20of%20one%20of%20the%20most%20colourful,%20beautiful%20seasons:%20Autumn.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYour%20cake%20can%20be%20homemade%20or%20store-bought,%20but%20you%20MUST%20start%20with%20a%20completely%20undecorated%20cake.%20It%20can%20also%20be%20a%20single%20layer%20cake%20or%20a%20multi-layer%20cake,%20that%E2%80%99s%20up%20to%20you!You%20can%20use%20any%20medium%20to%20decorate%20your%20cake%20(i.e.,%20buttercream,%20fondant,%20sugarcraft),%20however,%20it%20must%20all%20be%20edible%20(no%20non-edible%20decorations)%20and%20it%20must%20all%20be%20made%20by%20YOU!!!%20This%20is%20my%20cake%20on%20Autumn%20%E2%80%A6%20a%20beautiful%20season,%20when%20the%20leaves%20beginning%20to%20turn%20beautiful%20colours,%20where%20brightly%20coloured%20pumpkins%20stand%20out%20in%20contrast%20to%20pale%20leaves.%20Colours%20that%20weave%20dreamy%20designs,%20each%20complimenting%20the%20other.%20My%20inspiration%20%E2%80%A6%20Colours%20of%20Autumn%20&%20Pumpkins.%20My%20cake%20%E2%80%A6%20Cinnamon%20Buttercream%20Autumn%20Cake,%20with%20pumpkins%20made%20out%20of%20home%20made%20marzipan!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECinnamon%20Buttercream%20Autumn%20Cake%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20190C%20,%20reduce%20to%20180C%20after%2010mins%20of%20putting%20the%20cake%20in.%20Grease%20and%20line%20a%209%E2%80%B3%20spring%20form%20cake%20tin.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESift%20the%20flour%20+%20baking%20powder%20+%20salt%20+%20cornflour%20+%20cinnamon%20powder%203%20times.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBeat%20the%20eggs%20and%20sugar%20well%20with%20beater%20till%20very%20thick%20ribbon%20falls%20and%20holds%20in%20place%20for%20at%20least%205%20seconds%20(beat%20for%20approx%2010mins).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20vanilla%20extract%20and%20beat%20for%201%20min.%20Gently%20fold%20in%20the%20sifted%20flour;%20mix%20lightly%20so%20that%20air%20doesn%E2%80%99t%20escape.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETurn%20gently%20into%20tin%20and%20bake%20for%2030-35%20mins%20till%20done.%20Once%20done,%20remove%20from%20tin%20after%205%20mins%20and%20leave%20on%20rack%20to%20cool%20completely.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECut%20horizontally%20into%203%20layers.%20(Mark%20side%20with%20colour%20to%20make%20it%20easy%20to%20stack%20back%20later)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECinnamon%20Buttercream%20Frosting/Filling%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhip%20all%20ingredients%20until%20thick%20and%20frosting%20holds%20peaks.%20Sandwich%20&%20frost%20cake%20with%20cinnamon%20buttercream.%20Leave%20to%20set%20in%20fridge%20for%20at%20least%2030%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETopping:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhip%20the%20low%20fat%20cream%20&%20sugar%20till%20holds%20peaks.%20Colour%20as%20desired.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EReserve%20about%202-3%20tbsps%20in%20a%20baggie,%20and%20lightly%20frost%20the%20cake%20to%20give%20a%20smooth%20finish.%20Garnish%20with%20marzipan%20pumpkins%20&%20leaves.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChill%20well%20before%20serving.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%E2%99%A5%20Thank%20you%20for%20stopping%20by%20%E2%99%A5%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDon%E2%80%99t%20miss%20a%20post%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EJust%20got%20a%20mail%20from%20the%20lovely%20ladies%20of%20the%20Daring%20Kitchen%E2%80%A6%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHi%20Deeba!!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGuess%20what%20%E2%80%A6%20you%E2%80%99re%20our%20winner%20of%20the%20copy%20of%20
