Receta Cinnamon Candy Muffin

Ingredientes
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking pwdr
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp orange peel
- 1 x egg white whipped
- 1 c. skim lowfat milk at room temperature
- 1/3 c. margarine at room temperature
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar sifted
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 60 x cinnamon candies
Direcciones
- Preheat oven at 350. Prepare 12 muffin pans with cooking spray and flour.
- In mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking pwdr, cinnamon, salt, cloves, and pepper. In another mixing bowl, combine orange peel, egg white, lowfat milk, and margarine. Mix wet ingredients with dry ingredients just till moistened. Use an ice cream scoop to fill muffin tins 2/3 full. To prepare glaze, combine powdered sugar and lemon juice. Bake 20 min.
- While still hot, spread glaze on muffins. Press 5 candies into glaze.
- NOTES : Spiced with cinnamon, spiked with pepper, and topped with red candies resembling holly berries, these muffins look attractive on a plate surrounded by greenery.
