  1. Cream together the butter, adding sugar slowly and beating till light and fluffy.
  2. Add in Large eggs, vanilla, beating well after each addition.
  3. Sift together flour, soda, salt and baking pwdr.
  4. Slowly add in dry ingredients. Stir in oatmeal and coconut flakes.
  5. Drop by large teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  6. Bake in a preheated 375 degrees F., 12 to 15 min, or possibly till golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cold.
