  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 2 1/2 tsp gelatin
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 1/2 tsp liquid sweetener
  • 1 Tbsp. Splenda
  • 1/2 c. brewed espresso
  • 1/2 c. whipping cream Whipped cream Coffee beans

Direcciones

  1. Place the 2 Tbsp. water in a small bowl and sprinkle the gelatin over the surface. Let stand till the gelatin softens.
  2. Heat 1/2 c. of the 1 1/2 c. water in a small saucepan. Don't let it boil. Add in the gelatin and stir till it dissolves. Add in the sweetener, Splenda, remaining water and espresso. Stir well.
  3. Measure out 3/4 c. of the espresso mix into a small bowl. Add in the cream to the remaining mix. Stir well and pour into 4 small dessert dishes. Place both mixtures into the fridge to refrigeratefor at least 4 hrs.
  4. Remove the plain jelly from the bowl and cut into 1/2-inch cubes and pile onto the jelly in the dishes. Garnish with more whipped cream if desired and a coffee bean or possibly two.
  5. This recipe yields 4 servings.
