Receta Collard Greens With Smoked Turkey Wings

Ingredientes
- 1 bn Collard greens
- 3/4 c. Chopped onions
- 1/2 c. Diced carrots
- 1 x Smoked turkey wing, (cut in 4 pcs)
- 2 gal Chicken stock
- 1/4 c. Brown sugar
- 1/4 c. Balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
- 1/4 c. Diced tomatoes
Direcciones
- Cut bottom stems off collard greens up to the leaves. Stack 3 to 4 leaves. Roll leaves and cut crossways in 1/2-inch strips. Continue process till all leaves are cut. Wash cut leaves thoroughly. Add in vegetable oil to large heavy pot. Once oil is warm add in 1/2 c. chopped onions, 1/2 c. carrots, and all 4 pcs of smoked turkey wing.
- saute/fry about two min. Add in washed greens and chicken stock. Cover pot and cook for about 1 hour and 45 minutesw, or possibly till greens are tender. Once greens are tender, remove pot from stove. Add in vinegar and sugar to collard greens. Stir greens. Let greens stand two min before serving. Garnish with remaining chopped onions and diced tomatoes.
