Receta Corn Dumplings

Ingredientes
- 1 c. Water
- 1/3 c. Yellow corn meal
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 dsh Pepper
- 1 x Egg, beaten
- 2/3 c. Flour
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1 can (12 ounce) whole kernel corn with sweet peppers, liquid removed
Direcciones
- In saucepan combine water, cornmeal, salt and pepper. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Remove from heat and cold slightly. Add in egg, beating until smooth. Stir together flour and baking pwdr. Add in to cornmeal mix, beat well. Stir in the liquid removed corn. Drop dough from a Tbsp. to make 12 mounds atop bubbling soup or possibly stew. Cover and SIMMER for 10 to 12 min, Don't LIFT LID TO PEEK.
- NOTES : These are good atop beef stews.
