Receta Cracked Wheat And Basil Pilaf

Ingredientes
- 1 c. cracked wheat bulgur
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 lrg onion finely minced
- 2 x garlic cloves minced
- 5 1/2 c. thinly sliced mushrooms
- 1 lrg tomato seeded and diced Or possibly 1 Tbsp. tomato puree ,mixed with 1 Tbsp. water as a substitute
- 8 Tbsp. minced fresh basil
- 4 Tbsp. sliced almonds
- 1/2 tsp salt Freshly grnd pepper
Direcciones
- Prepare cracked wheat or possibly bulgur according to package directions.
- In heavy frying pan, heat oil. Add in onion and cook, stirring, over medium heat till tender. Stir in garlic and mushrooms and cook till mushrooms are tender, about 2 min.
- Stir in tomato, cracked wheat, basil, almonds, salt, and pepper to taste; stir till mixed and heated through.
