Receta Cranberry-Glogg (Holiday Punch)

Ingredientes
- 3/4 c. raisins
- 1/4 teaspoon grnd cardamom
- 1/2 c. blanched whole almonds or possibly sliced
- 2 (2 inch) long strips fresh orange peel, removed with vegetable peeler and studded with 5 whole cloves
- 2 sticks cinnamon
- 3 1/2 c. cranberry juice cocktail (can also use the mixed flavors)
Direcciones
- Toss raisins and cardamom in small bowl to coat. Add in remaining ingredients. Stir to mix. Put in 1 1/2 to 2 cup jar with tight lid.Bring glogg mix and juice to low simmer in medium saucepan over low heat. Keep at low simmer 30 min to develop flavor. Throw away orange peel and cinnamon sticks. Ladle glogg into mugs with spoons. Approximately 6-7 servings.
- This makes a nice holiday drink so children can toast, too, with this festive, non-alcoholic punch. A nice change from spiced cider and also makes the house smell wonderful.
