Receta Cream Cheese Spinach Pasta
This was one of those open the fridge and see what happens meals and it turned out amazing! I hope I get the ingreident measures right, so bear in mind your tastes when making it and adjust accordingly.
Great side dish for blackened salmon
Ingredientes
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 2 (ish) gloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 Tb butter (or you could use olive oil)
- A few large handful of fresh spinach
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 nests of 18th Ave. Pasta Co. Cajun Black Spice linguini (reserve the cooking water)
Direcciones
- Boil a quart or so of water with some salt.
- Cook the pasta for about 3-5 minutes
- Strain out the pasta but keep the water.
- In a pan, melt the butter and fry the garlic quickly to develop flavor.
- Add the cream cheese, and ladel on the warm pasta water to melt it to the right consistency. This totally depends on your taste if you want a thicker or thinner sauce.
- Once you have the sauce where you want it, wilt in several handful of fresh spinach.
- Add back in the cooked pasta and more water if needed.
- Season with salt and pepper.
