Receta Crispy Veg Fries

Ingredientes
- 4 ounce Plain wholemeal flour
- 1 x Free range egg Approx 5 ounce lowfat milk A little sunflower oil
- 1 sm Tin sweetcorn
- 1/2 sm Green pepper
- 1/2 sm Red pepper or possibly other crisp veg such as celery or possibly courgette Seasoning to taste
Direcciones
- 1. Mix the seasoning info the flour. Make a well in the centre and gradually fold in the egg, followed by the lowfat milk and oil.
- 2. Finely dice the vegetables and drain the sweetcorn thoroughly. Stir proportionately into the batter.
- 3. Heat a little oil in a frying pan and add in a spoonful of mix at a time to the pan, turning to brown proportionately.
- 4. Drain immediately on kitchen paper and pack loosely in a fresh serviette when completely cool. The idea is to keep the fresh, crisp texture of the vegetables as much as possible.
- NOTES : Make up your own combinations using sweetcorn as the base flavour.
