- Remove crust from bread. Make four sandwiches with cheese and coat lightly and proportionately with flour. Beat the egg in shallow dish. Dip the sandwiches so the sides and edges are all coated. Heat oil in deep fryer to 360 degrees. Deep fry the sandwiches till they are golden. Drain on paper towel and serve warm with salad.
