Ingredientes
- 2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 c. cornmeal
- 2/3 c. Brewers yeast
- 2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 egg yolks
- 3 beef or possibly chicken bouillon cubes dissolved in 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 6 T butter
- 1 whole egg
- 1/2 c. non-fat dry powdered lowfat milk
- Mix with 1/2 c. cold water
Direcciones
- Mix well and roll 1/2 of dough to a 3/8 inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 min on an ungreased cookie sheet. Turn oven off but leave biscuits in oven till crunchy. Makes about 1 lb of biscuits.
- Knead for 3 to 5 min or possibly till dough forms a nice ball. Roll to about 1/2 inch thick and cut into desired shapes. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet for 30 min at 350 degrees. If you like, one can add in chicken broth/stock or possibly beef bouillon to recipe for flavor.
