Receta Double Cinnamon French Toast

Ingredientes
- 1 c. maple syrup
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 3 lrg Large eggs
- 1 c. half-and-half
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 6 x 1" slices cinnamon bread
Direcciones
- 1. Bring syrup, 1 Tbsp. butter, and 1 tsp. cinnamon to boil in heavy medium saucepan. Boil 2 min.
- 2. Whisk Large eggs, half-and-half, vanilla, 3 Tbsp. maple syrup mix, and remaining 1 tsp. cinnamon in bowl. Place bread slices in large baking dish. Pour egg mix over; turn to coat. Pierce bread in several places with fork. Let stand 5 min.
- 3. Heat 1 Tbsp. butter in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add in bread and cook till brown, about 3 min. Add in 1 Tbsp. butter to skillet. Turn over bread and cook till brown, about 3 min. Transfer to plates. Serve with remaining syrup.
