Receta Easter Bread (Paska)

Ingredientes
- 3 c. scalded lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tbsp. salt
- 1 c. butter, melted
- 6 Large eggs, beaten
- 2 Packages dry yeast
- 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 12 to 14 c. flour
- Raisins
Direcciones
- Combine lowfat milk, sugar, salt and butter. Cold to lukewarm. Save 2 Tbsp. of beaten egg, add in rest to lowfat milk mix. Soften yeast in water, let stand 10 min. Add in to above mix. Add in raisins. Add in 2 c. flour at a time till dough can be handled. Knead 15 min. Place in greased bowl, grease top. Let rise 1 1/2 hrs in hot place. Knead again for 15 min. Shape into 4 loaves. Place in 2 qt pans. Let rise for 45 min. Brush top with egg. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. (Can also all be baked as one large bread in large roaster.)
