Receta Easy Almond Chicken

Ingredientes
- 2 c. diced chicken, cooked
- 1 (4 ounce.) pkg. whole blanched almonds
- 1 can fancy mixed Chinese vegetables, liquid removed
- 2 pkg. frzn snow pea pods
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 healthy pinch ginger
- 1-2 c. water
- 1-2 tbsp. cornstarch
Direcciones
- Brown almonds and chicken in a very small amount of oil in a large skillet. Add in pea pods and stir over moderately high heat (about 1 minute). Add in mixed vegetables and stir. Add in water, ginger, and soy sauce. Simmer for about 5 min (the amount of water depends on the amount of sauce you like). Thicken with cornstarch, mixed in a little cool water. Stir till sauce is proportionately thickened. Serve with rice (add in a couple Tbsp. of soy sauce to the water when cooking rice.)
