Receta Extreme Baked Apples
Soft Tender Apple with a hint of salted caramel, A surprising crunch of almond, a subtle taste of Peanut butter and chocolate.!!!
All in all better then your average baked apple recipe.
Most have all these ingredients in their pantry. Simple to prepare. family and guests will be wowed.
Ingredientes
- 5 Apples - of choice- Fuji is a good one
- 1 Cup Oatmeal
- 1/8 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Salted Almonds - chopped
- 2 Tbsp Peanut Butter
- Home made or bought Caramel Sauce
- 1/4 Cup chocolate chips - Chopped
- 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
- 2 TBSP Honey

- Preheat oven to 350
- Core your apples- I did it twice so the hole would be a bit bigger
- Combine everything else except the caramel sauce and honey. Set aside 1/4 Cup of Mix.
- With the remaining oatmeal peanut butter mix. Add a 3 Tbsp Caramel sauce. Set aside.
- Using the First Oatmeal peanut butter mix. Stuff into the apples. Make sure to pack it firmly.
- Place in a 8 x 8 pan. Pour 1/2 cup of water in, the honey and a little pinch of cinnamon.
- Drizzle more caramel sauce on top. As much as you want.
- Cover with Tin Foil..
- Bake 15 minutes. Uncover after 15. Bake another 15 to 20 Minutes. Til the apples are just soft.
- Serve the apple whole with a little bit of liquid poured over top,
