Receta Fabulous Filled Focaccia

Ingredientes
- 1 x 10 inch round loaf focaccia
- 1 c. herbed cream-cheese spread, softened
- 1 c. fresh spinach leaves, rinsed and patted dry
- 1/2 c. very thinly sliced red onion
- 1 x red bell pepper, seeded and sliced into thin rings
- 8 slc provolone or possibly fontina cheese
Direcciones
- The night before your trip or possibly picnic, or possibly the morning before you go, slice the focaccia in half horizontally. Spread the bottom half with the cream cheese spread. Cover with spinach leaves, then sliced red onion and bell pepper rings.
- Top the sandwich with cheese. Place the top half of the focaccia on the cheese and press down gently.
- Cut the loaf into 8 wedges. Wrap the loaf well with foil and chill till ready to pack.
