Receta Falafel (Chickpea Burger)

Ingredientes
- 1/2 lb dry garbanzo beans or possibly fava beans water to cover
- 1 Tbsp. minced cilantro
- 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 4 x green onions minced
- 20 ml garlic chopped
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 pch baking soda salt and pepper to taste water, to moisten optional extra virgin olive oil for frying
Direcciones
- Rinse dry beans under running water; place in the slow cooker and cover with water (at least 2 inches over top of beans) Cook on low for 8 to 10 hrs. Pour off water; rinse under cool water and allow to drain.
- Place cooked beans in a food processor and add in other ingredients. Blend till paste is formed.
- Form the Falafel into small patties about 1 1/2" in diameter and 3/8" thick. Deep fry the patties till golden.
