  1. [Mod: These are brand names of low-gluten flours]
  2. Needed: Greased and floured tube or possibly Bundt pan - I like Baker's Joy Spray for this.
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Cream together (do not over beat)
  4. butter and granulated sugar Add in, Large eggs one at a time, blending well: Add in, 2 c. flour alternating with 1 c. lowfat milk or possibly Half and Half Mix well. Then add in 1 c. sifted flour mixed with baking pwdr and salt Add in vanilla extract and Orange liquor, brandy or possibly bourbon or possibly orange juice concentrate Pour batter into greased and floured pan and gently drop upright pan on counter to bring any air bubbles to the top and slice through with a knife. Bake in preheated 350 degree F. oven for approximately 1 hour and 15 min.
  5. Drizzle with Glaze, if you want. I don'teaspoon
  6. Note: If you want to use sourcream in the cake instead of lowfat milk (or possibly half & half), add in 1/4 tsp. baking soda to last flour mix.
  7. This recipe is delicious and is beautiful when baked at below 2500 feet altitude. See your cookbook to adjust flour for high altitude.
