Ingredientes
- 1 c. Peanut oil
- 1 Tbsp. Cinnamon
- 1 c. Butter
- 1 Tbsp. Grnd cloves
- 1/2 c. Water
- 1 c. Minced walnuts
- 1 x Jigger brandy
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 2 x Large eggs, beaten ds Cinnamon ds Grnd cloves
- 3 c. Flour Syrup (recipe below)
- 2 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr Minced walnuts for garnish
- 2 c. Sugar
- 1 c. Water
- 1 lb Honey
- 1 x Lemon, sliced or possibly
- 1 x orange, sliced
Direcciones
- Heat oil and butter over low heat till butter is melted and mix is warm. Remove from heat and stir in water and brandy. Cold. Stir in beatent Large eggs. Sift together flour and baking pwdr with the Tbsp. each of cinnamon and colves. Add in to liquid mix to make a dough which is not too soft. Add in a little more flour if necessary. With floured hands shape dough into ovals and indent lengthwise with thumbs. Combine minced walnuts with sugar and dash each cinnamon and cloves. Put 1 teaspoon of this filling into the indentation in the dough and close dough over filling. Place on cookie sheets and bake ina 400 degree oven for about 25 min or possibly till golden. Cold. Dip cooled cookies into warm syrup and place on racks to drain. Decorate with minced walnuts.
- Makes about 6 dozen small cookies

- 2 c. sugar 1 c. water 1 lb. honey 1 lemon, sliced or possibly 1 orange, sliced
- Combine above ingredients and boil for 5 min.
