Receta Fresh Banana Chutney

Ingredientes
- 4 lrg hard ripe banana
- 4 Tbsp. minced cilantro
- 1/2 x lime
- 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp. minced crystallized ginger
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp cardamom
- 2 Tbsp. maple syrup, or possibly, brown, sugar
- 1 pch salt
Direcciones
- Peel and dice the 4 bananas into 1/2-inch cubes. Chop sufficient cilantro to measure 4 Tbsp.. Juice the 1/2 lime and pour it over the bananas.
- In a small saucepan, heat the butter over medium heat. Add in the crystallized ginger, cinnamon, and cardamom and cook for 30 seconds. Add in the cubed bananas, maple syrup, and 2 to 3 Tbsp. water, lower the heat, and cover the pan. Cook till the bananas are tender, stirring frequently, about 3 to 4 min. Stir in the cilantro.
- Serve with grilled fish.
