Receta Fruit Bit Bars

Ingredientes
- 3/4 c. margarine
- 3/4 x brown sugar
- 1 x egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 c. whole-wheat flour
- 1/4 c. wheat germ
- 1 1/2 c. rolled oats
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 1/2 c. minced dry fruit
Direcciones
- In a medium bowl, beat margarine and brown sugar till blended. Add in egg and beat till fluffy. Stir in vanilla. Stir in flour, wheat germ, rolled oats, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in fruit bits.
- Press mix into a lightly greased 9- by 13-inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 min.
- Wrap cookies individually in plastic and then place in plastic freezer bags and freeze. In the morning hot cookies in a microwave oven for a just made taste.
- This recipe yields 15 bars.
