Receta Fruited Cholent

Ingredientes
- 2 lb Brisket
- 1 lb Yellow turnips and/or possibly carrots
- 1 lb Potatoes Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 lb Mixed dry fruit Salt and pepper, to taste
- 5 Tbsp. Honey Water
Direcciones
- In a heavy saucepan, arrange the meat with the turnips, potatoes and dry fruit. Mix together the salt, pepper, honey and lemon juice and add in to the meat mix. Add in sufficient water to cover the meat and the vegetables.
- Cover, bring to a boil and then simmer for one hour. Place the covered pot in a preheated 200 degree F oven and bake for aproximately 18 hrs.
- This can also be done in a crock pot.
