  • 1/4 c. Extra virgin extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 x Cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pch crushed red pepper flakes
  • 8 c. Diced, peeled and seeded plum tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. Minced fresh basil

Direcciones

  1. Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add in the garlic and saute/fry till golden. Add in the pepper flakes and cook for 1 minute. Stir in the tomatoes, season with the salt and pepper, and cook, partially covered, over low heat for 25 min. Add in the basil when the sauce is almost completely cooked.
  2. Yield: About 2 c.
