Receta German Apple Pancake (Apfel Pfannekuchen)

Ingredientes
- 3 lrg Large eggs
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 7 Tbsp. butter divided
- 1 x tart green apple sliced Powdered sugar for sprinkling Apple or possibly pear sauce for accompaniment (optional)
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Make a batter of the Large eggs, flour, salt, and lowfat milk and blend till smooth.
- Heat 3 Tbsp. of butter in an iron skillet or possibly other oven-proof pan, till bubbly, add in apple slices and saute/fry over medium heat till crisp-tender.
- Pour batter into warm skillet over the apple slices. Place skillet in oven and bake till edges are browned and crisp and cake is puffed, about 20 min. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and/or possibly serve with apple or possibly pear sauce.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
