Ingredientes

  • 5/8 c. Honey
  • 5 c. Sugar
  • 2 gal Water
  • 3 x Beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. Ginger moistened with a Little water Juice of 4 lemons
  • 1/4 tsp Yeast
  • 1 whl lemon Egg whites

Direcciones

  1. Dissolve the honey or possibly sugar in 2 gallons water. Add in the beaten egg whites and ginger. Bring to a boil and skim. Most of the flavor of the ginger will have been given out, so do not worry which you loose much of it in the skimming. Add in the whole lemon and set the mix aside to cold.
  2. When it is lukewarm, add in the lemon juice and the yeast dissolved in 1/4 c. hot water. Stir well and let stand for a while for the sediment to settle to the bottom. Strain through a cloth into a clean container. Give it a few more min to settle and you are ready to bottle.
