Receta Golden Sourdough Biscuits Made Fromherman Starter

Ingredientes
- 2 c. unsifted flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 c. butter (may use butter, but butter is better)
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. sourdough starter mix
Direcciones
- In a bowl put together flour, soda, salt, baking pwdr, cut in butter with pastry blender till like corn meal. Blend sourdough and buttermilk, stir into crumb mix with fork to soft dough. Turn out onto lightly floured cloth; knead 30 seconds.Roll into 1/2 inch thickness, cut into biscuits with 3 inch cutter. Place on greased baking sheet, brush with melted butter and put in warm place to raise for 30 min covered with a towel. Bake for 12 to 15 min or possibly till golden brown in 425 degree oven. Good with honey and butter.
