  • 2 pound stewing beef, cubed

  • 2 onions, minced
  • 3 potatoes, peeled and quartered, cooked or possibly frzn
  • Peas or possibly any leftover vegetables
  • 10 1/2 ounce. can condensed tomato soup
  • 1/2 can water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Sprinkle of pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 c. sweet or possibly sour pickle juice or possibly wine

  1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Put all ingredients in large casserole with lid to fit. There is no need to brown meat first. Mix ingredients. Cover; bake in preheated oven for 5 hrs.
