Receta Good Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredientes
- 1 1/4 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. butter or possibly soft shortening
- 2 c. uncooked rolled oats
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. coconut or possibly nuts (or possibly both)
Direcciones
- Sift together flour, baking soda, salt and nutmeg into a bowl. Add in soft shortening, brown sugar, egg and lowfat milk. Beat till smooth. Stir in rolled oats and coconut and nuts.
- Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake in moderate oven 12 to 15 min. Cold. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
