Receta Granny's Date Nut Bread

Ingredientes
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 pkg. pitted dates
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 2 3/4 c. plain flour
- 2 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 c. minced pecans
Direcciones
- Cut dates in small pcs. Pour 1 1/2 c. boiling water over dates. Let set. Cream sugar and butter together. Add in egg. Mix flour and soda. Add in alternately with date water and dates. Add in vanilla. Add in nuts. Pour into one long bread pan or possibly two short pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 45-60 min. Slice and top with cream cheese.
