Receta Greek Powdered Sugar Cookies

Ingredientes
- 1 pound unsalted butter (4 sticks)
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/3 c. Ouzo (Masticha)
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 c. baked, minced almonds
- 3 1/2 c. flour
Direcciones
- First boil almonds till skins puffy. Remove skins. Then chop. Bake them for 5 min till brown. Let cold.
- Mix butter and sugar for 5 min, add in egg yolks and beat for another 5 - 10 min. Then add in 1/3 c. of Ouzo to sugar and butter mix while still mixing.
- While which is mixing, mix flour and baking soda in a large bowl. Stop mixer and add in nuts. Mix. Add in sugar and butter to flour and mix. Knead with hands. (You may need to add in another 1/2 c. flour!) Ready to shape cookies. Cook for 1/2 hour at 350 degrees. Makes about 4 dozen.
