Receta Soft Frosted Sugar Cookies
Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/3 cups butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- BUTTERCREAM FROSTING
- 1 cup butter
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 lb pkg. powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 teaspoon water
- 1 or 2 drops of your choice of food coloring
Direcciones
- In a large bowl, combine sugar and butter, beat with electric mixer until creamy about 5 minutes
- add eggs one at a time, blending well after each egg
- add vanilla and mix well
- combine all dry ingredients together
- add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients one cup at a time
- blend well
- roll into one inch balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet lined with parchment paper
- bake for 10-15 minutes
- cool on a wire rack
- frost when they are completely cool
