Receta Green Chili Quiche
Ingredientes
- 1 9-inch frozen deep dish pie shell (holds 4 cups) or home made
- 4 cups shredded Jarlesberg cheese (about 3/4 lbs)
- 4 oz. can diced green chiles
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk or half and half
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Direcciones
- Place the pie shell (store bought or one you made) on a cookie sheet before filling.
- Mix green chiles with cheese and place in the pie shell. Combine eggs salt and milk. Pour over the cheese and chile mixture.
- Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 375°F or until center is set. Let cool 20-30 minutes before serving.
- * Variation: Brown 3 slices of bacon, crumble and combine with the chile and cheese.
