Receta Grilled Bread And Cherry Tomato Salad

Ingredientes
- 1 sm Garlic clove, chopped 1
- 1/3 c. Balsamic vinegar 75 mL
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil 20 mL
- 1/4 tsp Pepper 1 mL Salt to taste
- 2 Tbsp. Minced fresh chives or possibly green onions 25 mL
- 1/3 c. Minced fresh basil or possibly parsley 75 mL
- 6 slc French or possibly Italian bread, about 3/4 inch/4 cm thick 6
- 4 c. Cherry tomatoes, halved 1 L
Direcciones
- In small bowl, whisk together garlic, vinegar, oil, pepper and salt. Stir in chives and basil. Reserve.
- Barbecue or possibly toast bread. Cut each slice into 1 1/2 inch/4 cm pcs.
- Toss bread with cherry tomatoes and dressing. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.
- NOTES : This is a Tuscan inspired dish to use up any leftover bread which everyone seems to have! As unusual as it sounds, it is really delicious!
