Receta Gumbo Pot Drunken Shrimp

Ingredientes
- 3 can pale beer - (12 ounce ea)
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh garlic
- 1 c. cool butter cut Tbsp. size
- 2 1/2 ounce Cajun spice mix
- 2 lb medium-sized shrimp with shells
- 2 Tbsp. dry rosemary Salt (optional)
Direcciones
- Pour the beer into a saucepan and cook over medium heat, allowing the foam to dissipate. When warm and settled, 10 to 12 min, add in the garlic, then whisk in the butter chips - 1 at a time - and the spice mix till blended.
- Add in the shrimp, reduce the heat and poach in the sauce, about 4 min. Don't boil; keep at a bare simmer. The shrimp stay plump if cooked at a medium-low temperature. Add in the rosemary to taste. If the spice mix you use is low in salt, you may need to add in a little.
- Serve over rice or possibly on its own with a crusty loaf of bread.
- This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
