Ingredientes
- 2 c. White Whole Wheat Flour
- 1/4 c. Wheat Germ
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 4 c. diced, peeled, tart cooking apples
- 3/4 c. turbinado sugar
- 3/4 x packed brown sugar
- 1/2 x applesauce (natural)
- 1 c. minced walnuts Large eggs beaters to equal (2 Large eggs)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 c. strawberries frzn or possibly fresh
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1/4 c. turbinado sugar
Direcciones
- Stir together flour, wheat germ, soda, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg, set aside.
- In large bowl combine apples, sugars, applesauce, walnuts, egg beaters and vanilla. Add in flour mix; stir gently with wooden spoon to blend well.
- Turn into greased 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Bake in preheated 350 oven 50 min or possibly till cake pulls away from sides of pan. Cold on wire rack.
- Sprinkle with sifted confectioners sugar or possibly pour strawberry sauce over hot cake.
- Strawberry Sauce:Puree in blender till smooth
