Receta Hearty Potato Ham Chowder

Ingredientes
- 3 oz margarine
- 8 oz green onion, finely chopped
- 12 oz green pepper, chopped
- 3 oz all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 3 qts chicken stock
- 2 lbs 8 oz ham, coarsely chopped.
- 5 lbs 8 oz potatoes, cooked, cubed
- 3 lbs 12 oz corn, whole kernel
- 2 3/4 qts milk
- 1/2 cup parsley, fresh, chopped
Direcciones
- Melt the margarine in steam jacketed or other large kettle.
- Add onion and green pepper and saute until tender.
- Add flour and seasonings. Stir until blended.
- Cook for 5 minutes, stirring often.
- Add stock and stir until smooth.
- Cook until mixture begins to thicken.
- Add ham, potatoes, and corn. Heat to 180F.
- Add milk and mix well. Heat to 180 F.
- Sprinkle parsley over chowder before serving.
