Receta Henry's Homemade Vegetable Soup

Ingredientes
- 1 pound lean grnd beef
- 1 c. minced celery
- 1 c. minced onion
- 1/2 c. minced carrots
- 1/2 c. minced bell pepper
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 3 beef bouillon cubes
- 2 (14 1/2 ounce.) cans beef broth
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can tomatoes (whole or possibly cut up - don't drain)
- 1 sm. pkg. frzn English peas
- 1/2 c. barley
- 1 bay leaf
- Water
- Salt
- Pepper
Direcciones
- Cook grnd beef till well done. Drain, set aside. Chop celery, onions, carrots, bell pepper. Mince garlic. Combine all in large stock pot. Add in cooked grnd beef, bouillon cubes, beef broth, canned tomatoes, sufficient water to cover. Cook 45 min. Add in English peas, barley and bay leaf. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook additional 45 min. Remove the bay leaf. Serves four to six.
