Receta Herb Stuffed Meat Pie

Ingredientes
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 2 1/2 c. herb seasoned stuffing croutons
- 1 1/2 pound grnd beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 sm. onion, sliced
- 1 med. apple, pared, cored and minced
- 1/2 c. minced celery
- 1 med. carrot, grated
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 c. mushrooms (optional)
Direcciones
- Beat egg with lowfat milk; stir in 1/2 c. croutons. Let stand 5 min. Fold in grnd beef and salt till well blended. Press into a 9-inch pie pan, making a 1/2-inch high edge. Saute/fry onion, apple, celery, and carrot in butter just till onion is soft. Stir in water and remaining croutons. Spoon into meat shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 min. Pour off any drippings.
