  • 1 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 pch Salt Pepper
  • 1 x Egg lightly beaten
  • 2/3 c. Water
  • 1 lb Shrimp shelled, deveined
  • 2 Tbsp. Cornstarch Oil for deep frying
  • 1 Tbsp. Sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Honey
  • 1 Tbsp. Sesame seeds

Direcciones

  1. 1 Sift flour and salt and pepper into a bowl. Make a well in the center, add in egg and water, and gradually fold in the flour.
  2. 2. Beat to a smooth batter and set aside for 10 min
  3. 3. Meanwhile, toss shrimp in cornstarch and coat well. Shake off any excess cornstarch. Add in shrimp to batter and coat well.
  4. 4. Heat oil in wok and add in shrimp, a few at a time. Cook till batter is golden brown. Remove shrimp, drain on paper towels, and keep hot. Repeat till all shrimp have been fried.
  5. 5. Carefully remove warm oil from wok. Gentely heat sesame oil in pan.
  6. 6 Add in honet and stir till mixed well and heat through. Add in shrimp to mix and toss well.
  7. 7. Sprinkle over sesame seeds and again toss well. Serve immediately.
