Receta Honey Wheat Germ Bread

Ingredientes
- 2 env. yeast
- 1 c. very hot water
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 1/2 c. instant potatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1 c. plain wheat germ
- 7-8 c. flour, white
Direcciones
- 1. Sprinkle yeast over water.
- 2. Heat buttermilk, salt, butter and honey together. Stir in potato flakes. Combine with yeast.
- 3. Stir in soda, wheat germ and 3 c. flour. Add in rest of flour.
- 4. Knead. Place in greased bowl. Let raise till double, 1 to 1 1/2 hrs.
- 5. Punch down, let rest 10 min.
- 6. Shape into 2 loaves (large). Place in pans and let arise.
- 7. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 min.
