Receta Hot Asparagus Turkey Sandwiches

Ingredientes
- Cheddar Sauce (recipe Follows)
- 1 pkt (10 ounce) frzn Asparagus spears
- 8 x Thick diagonal slices Italian bread
- 1 jar (7 ounce) roasted red Peppers
- 8 ounce Sliced cooked turkey breast
Direcciones
- Prepare Cheddar Sauce. Cook asparagus following package directions. Drain; rinse with cool water to stop cooking. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Place bread slices on baking sheet. Divide red peppers among bread slices. Cover with turkey; top with asparagus. Spoon Cheddar Sauce over top. Bake in 375 oven for 8 min or possibly till heated through.
- Cheddar Sauce: Heat 1 Tablespoons unsalted butter in a small saucepan. Stir in 2 Tablespoons flour. Stir in 3/4 c. lowfat milk, 1/4 t each worcestershire sauce and prepared mustard, and a healthy pinch each salt and pepper till mix is well blended and smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring, till the mix thickens and boils. Remove the saucepan from heat. Then stir in 1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (4 ounces) till smooth.
