Receta Hot Chinese Mustard Sauce

Ingredientes
- 2 Tbsp. Chinese dry mustard (or possibly Colman"s English Mustard Pwdr)
- 2 tsp water
- 2 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar
- 1/4 c. pickled ginger liquid Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 pch turmeric
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. chili oil
- 1 Tbsp. Asian sesame oil
- 1 c. peanut oil
Direcciones
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients except the peanut oil. Stir till well blended. Slowly whisk in the peanut oil till emulsified. Set aside till needed. This can be prepared up to 1 week ahead.
- Comments: Chinese mustard is fiery warm, so I moderate its power by creating a simple sauce that can be used in all sorts of ways. My favorite is with spring rolls. (See separate recipe)
