Receta Indian Mutton Curry (Or Beef)

Ingredientes
- 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
- 1 lb Beef, trimmed, cubed
- 1 x Onion, sliced
- 2 x Potato, cut in 1" cubes
- 1 x Carrot, peeled and sliced
- 1 x Cu cauliflower florets
- 1 x Cu eggplant, cut in 1" cubes
- 3 x Cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 x Green chiles, fresh
- 2 Tbsp. Coriander, grnd
- 1 Tbsp. Chili pwdr
- 1 tsp Grnd cumin
- 1 tsp Grnd ginger
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Curry pwdr, or possibly to taste
- 1 Tbsp. Mustard seed
- 1/2 x Cu white vinegar
- 3/4 x Cu coconut cream, diluted to 1 1/2 cu
Direcciones
- To moderately warm butter in large skillet or possibly wok, add in onions, garlic, chilies, mustard seeds, curry pwdr, coriander pwdr, chili pwdr, cumin pwdr, turmeric pwdr, and ginger. Stir constantly, them lower heat.
- Add in beef and vegetables; saute/fry till beef is browned , then add in diluted coconut lowfat milk and vinegar.
- Simmer on very low heat till meat is nearly tender. When vegetables and meat are tender, add in rice flour mixed with a little water and salt. Add in more water if necessary.
- Serving Ideas : Serve over warm cooked rice with plain yogurt.
- NOTES : Delicious and pleasantly hot. By the end of the second helping, the lips were beginning to feel a little numb, tho'.
