Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 lb Grnd beef
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 lrg Onion -- finely minced
- 1/2 tsp Grnd coriander
- 1 1/2 c. Tomato juice
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala*
- 1 c. Peas -- thawed
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt Freshly cooked rice
- 1/2 tsp Grnd cumin
Direcciones
- Cook beef and onion in heavy large skillet over medium heat till met is no longer pink, crumbling with fork, about 10 min. Add in all other ingredients, except rice. Cover and cook 15 min. Serve with rice. GARAM MASALA - An Indian spice mix available at Indian or possibly specialty markets.
- To substitute, mix 3/4 ts. grnd cumin with 3/4 ts. grnd coriander, 1/2 ts. pepper, 1/2 ts. grnd cardamon, 1/4 ts. grnd cloves, and 1/4 ts. grnd cinnamon. Use 1/2 ts. of spice mix for this recipe.
