- 4 c. Water
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 c. Steel-cut Oats (Irish Oats)
- 4 tsp Brown Sugar

- Cook time: 30 min
- In a medium suacepan over medium-high heat, combine the water and salt.
- Bring to a boil. Gradually add in the oats, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat to low and simmer. Stir frequently til water is absorbed and oats creamy, about 30 min. Divide cooked oats into 4 bowls. Sprinkle 1 tsp. of brown sugar on each bowl of oats. Serve immediately.
