Ingredientes
- 1 1/4 lb bulk Italian sausage
- 1 lrg green bell pepper -- coarsely minced (1 1/2 c.)
- 1 lrg onion -- coarsely minced (1 c.)
- 2 x (14 1/(2-oz) cans Italian-style stewed tomatoes -undrained
- 1 x (15-oz) can garbanzo beans - rinsed and liquid removed
- 1 x (8-oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese -- (4 ounces)
Direcciones
- Cook sausage, bell pepper and onion in Dutch oven over medium-high heat 8 to 10 min, stirring occasionally, till sausage is no longer pink; drain.
- Stir in tomatoes, beans and tomato sauce. Cook about 5 min, stirring occasionally, till warm. Sprinkle each serving with cheese.
- Yield: 4servings.
